The founders of Truong Enterprises (TE) bought their first home at a real estate auction in April 1993 during the Real Estate Owned Bank liquidation period. The purchase price was $104,000. They moved in and began their renovation project. With $20,000 in cash and sweat equity, they improved the property while maintaining it as their primary home for 7 years. In April 2000, they sold it for $210,000 and made $86,000 capital gain free.

For Fiscal Year Ending 09, their Real Estate Development companies, TE and Real Estate Center along with various joint ventures bought, sold and managed a portfolio of over $100,000,000. Their real estate sales and brokerage firm Realty Direct helped buyers and sellers with over $250,000,000 of residential and commercial property purchases and sales.
